“Excuse me, but who are you?”

This was already the fifth bout of amnesia.

“It's today? And I'm swamped as it is.”

Faced with the familiar situation, Dojun knit his brows.

When your lover habitually comes down with amnesia, which of the following is the most appropriate response?

  1. 1. Beg him not to abandon you even though he's lost his memories.

  2. 2. Hover vaguely at your lover's side and wait for his memories to come back.

  3. 3. Don't cling. Go find a new life of your own and walk away.

  4. 4. Smack him upside the head and hope the memories shake loose.

  5. 5. Screw the memories, tell him to go save the world, and shove him into a dungeon.

Personally, Dojun wanted to pick three or four, but most people would go with one or two.

Not that any of them would earn him a kind word from this rotten-tempered bastard.

Seon Hanul, contrary to that pretty, angelic face of his, was black-hearted to the core, a walking personality disaster who hated every human being except himself with perfect equality.

He was a two-faced man who smiled sweet and phony while sharpening a knife on the inside, and a germaphobe who acted like he'd die if anyone so much as laid a finger on him (though judging by what he got up to in bed, the condition was selective).

Whether it was special treatment reserved for a lover, he had made an effort to be a gentle, adorable boyfriend after he started dating Dojun, but that didn't erase who Hanul was.

Besides, Dojun had already sampled Hanul's magnificent temper firsthand long before they ever started dating.

So what Dojun was getting at was this: a Hanul without his memories was a man no one could stand to deal with.

“The right answer is five.”

Dojun crooked a finger at his lover, who was smiling that phony smile as though sizing him up.

“Never mind that. Let's stop the dungeon break first.”

When I think about how this guy's going to behave from here on, I just want to break up with him.

Sweetheart, you know what happens if you abandon me again, right?

Because if he did, cleaning up the fallout once Hanul's memories came back would be brutal.

I tangled up my own fate.

What sin did I commit in a past life to fall for someone that rotten, that fake, that persistent and obsessive?

No, why did my lover, of all people, have to end up with this particular dungeon aftereffect?
